Call for coaches Bénin 2026

The next Boost Camp in Benin is being prepared and will take a different turn this year. 

Together with GEL Sud Bénin, OVO has launched a call for projects from Beninese entrepreneurs who meet our selection criteria. You can consult the call here: https://ondernemersvoorondernemers.be/en/news/call-for-entrepreneurs-benin-2026

Between 10 to 12 entrepreneurs are shortlisted. During a visit, the GEL Sud Bénin team will assess the specific capacity-building/coaching needs of these entrepreneurs. 

We're looking for Business Coaches!

We invite you to join this exciting initiative, in partnership with the Beninese Business Coaches who are members of the GEL Sud Bénin team. You have two options for taking part in this initiative, which will take place in Benin from 24 to 31 January 2025:

• either take part in the trip and provide coaching afterwards
• or focus solely on coaching, without taking part in the trip

If you opt to do the coaching alone, the OVO coaches who took part in the trip and met the entrepreneurs, in collaboration with the Beninese coaches, will provide you with all the information you need to make the right decisions. 

The cost of participation is entirely borne by OVO (transport and lodging).

Boost Camp programme :

• Training courses organised on themes according to the needs of entrepreneurs.
• Company visits to find out about participants' projects
  Cultural visits to immerse yourself in Benin's rich heritage.
• The main objective remains capacity building for entrepreneurs via coaching, with the possibility, at a later stage, of access to funding via OVO or other sources.

✔ Saturday 24/01
Flight to Cotonou

✔ Sunday and Monday 25 and 26/01
Inspiration Tour: visits to SusTech4Africa 2024/3025 projects and new projects for the 2026 edition.

✔ Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 27, 28 and 29/01
Boost Camp. In the working sessions, entrepreneurs are accompanied in their thinking by European and Beninese coaches

✔ Friday 30/01
Relaxation/ Sightseeing.

✔ Saturday 31/01
Flight to Brussels
